His was the superior portrayal of Frankenstein's monster and the absolute best on-screen Dracula. Christopher Lee, the last gentleman of horror has died.
I am not the type to lament the death of celebrities, particularly not when they had lives as impressive and full as Lee or the recently passed Nimoy, but I still want to take off my digital hat to this prolific and underrated actor.
