It isn't often enough that I have a reason to really praise an rpg company for genuinely first class customer service, but today is just such a day.
Due to issues with my primary PC, I am relying on an old laptop. With plans to referee a Doctor Who - Adventures in Time & Space campaign soon, I was annoyed to discover that I didn't have the digital downloads. Not to worry, just a quick jaunt over to RPGNow and... Oh, that's not good.
Due to e-mail account migration, some of the digital edition books were no longer available from my library. So I e-mail Cubicle 7, explain the issue and by lunchtime today they provided me with download links for all the books I was missing. Very good.
Now, that is what I would expect, just faster and easier than expected. Where Cubicle 7 really impressed me was in regard to a second question I asked. There is a minor misprint on the spine of early prints of the Second Doctor Sourcebook. All the book spines create an image of the Doctors and logo, y'see... I mentioned that I had a misprinted book and asked about trading it for a replacement. The response? Send a photo of the misprinted book and my address, a new copy will be dispatched this week.
This is how all customer service should work! Quick, easy, no argument, no nonsense. Cubicle 7 was already a company I had bought a few games from and enjoyed in recent years, but this really made my day.
